Texas Tactical is about to start up our season of Night/Lowlight shoots next month. I was wondering if anybody has any cool ideas,or different things that you have seen or heard about in Night/Lowlight training or other matches. Also any good Courses of Fire or ideas for interesting COFs would be greatly appreciated.

Not a flame, but I think the timing for such a question is lousy, given what happened tonight.

A/the shooter in the DC area just committed a night/lowlight shot and killed a woman.  Turn on Fox News.

I apologize for the timing. I knew nothing of this shooting when I posted this. I feel for the woman and her family and friends.

Although the timing is bad it only reinforces the need for us to train in reduced lighting conditions to be able to adequately defend ourselves and our loved ones in these conditions.

Fog machines, strobe lights, and rotating police style lights are always fun.

Fog Machine!!! now that sounds cool! But cost prohibitive and then all the scenarios would have to be set in London. :)

Nope.  San Francisco or a Wisconsin freeway.  (I know, very black humor.  So sue me.)

You might be able to rent one.  Or borrow one if someone you knows works with a theater group.

I bet you could find something interesting to do with blacklights as well...
