[red] The anti-gun poll (referenced in another thread) that got taken down after we stuffed the ballot box is BACK.
www.cn8.tv/channel/channelhome.asp?lChannelID=617 Get out there and KICK ITS @$$! Dump your cookie file after voting, go back, vote again, dump your cookies again, and keep stuffing the box until your arms fall off. 50/50 isn't good enough. Let's go for 90/10 in favor of better enforcement! CJ [/red] Missing URL added. Ooops! CJ |

How a bout a link? Some of us have NO idea what the hell you're talking about.

I just found out that MULTIPLE sessions are possible here! Open the link about five times in the new window and process each one separately, and you can get five votes in hardly more than the time it takes to process two individually!
KILL THE SNAKE!!! CJ |

I find it funny that the "tougher gun laws" choice is already chosen when the page opens, damn Liberals.
What am I doing wrong? I deleted cookies and I can still only vote once.
This needs to be tacked. And posted on every pro-gun forum we belong to. Mayeb even some of the not necessarily "gun" forums.....

OK...
Somebody wanna tell me how I "clear my cookies"??? I don't know jackshit about this stupidass computer... |
Assuming you are using MS Internet Explorer: look at the top of your screen, on the tool bar below the blue line you'll see "Tools" Select that then choose "internet options" then click the button for "Delete Cookies" also hit the "delete Files" button too and select the offline content box. This should be done regularly anyway to make your computer run faster.

I always vote pro-gun, but I will only vote once. But I reserve the right to keep voting pro-gun after I die.
It finally changed from 47/53 to 46/54 after my 37 votes [:D]

When it comes to gun control, do we need... More and tougher gun laws 45% -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Better enforcement of current gun laws 55% |
There is no way that that fuckin many people are voting on this thing.
I delete my cookies (actually opened up about 20 windows, then turned off the cookies) I did this severla times, and it seems to work, so WhyTF will it not go past 55 in our favor????? Could it be rigged. I'm embarassed to ask this, as I'm a network guy, but never done anything with cookies having to report back to me. Does deleting the cookies not work??? I wonder if there is a source IP time limit check in these polls or something???? |
I think htey left out the most important choice, neither of the above.

View Quote Honestly, I'd bet my left nut that there are that many votes on it by now, this thing was started I beleive on thurs., I've been watching it closely, as well as the threads on about 8 different BB's. Based on what people have been saying from the start, I'd guess the vote count is up close to 5K. I know I must have voted close to 100 times in the past 3 days. And I'll bet the anti's are doing the same thing. Karl. |
Where's the 3rd option, we don't need gun control, we're responsible enough to handle guns without any sort of control.

did not surprise me that the default selection was the on the "wrong answer." |
I voted for better enforcement of laws already on the books.

I voted for Total ban on guns!

[blue]ROCKIN'!!
We're up to 60/40, a 20 point split! CJ[/blue] |

Got that poll a few days ago and just got it again. Glad to see it turned around. Its at 40/60 now.
Well, you can put me down for 20 votes.
Didn't even fade the %. Still 60% to 40% our favor. There must be alot of votes so far if 20 didn't budge the %. |
Voted and still voting . . . but I think it's fixed since it's still 60/40.[}:(]
Still 60/40, Something smells fishy and I think it might be Lynn Doyle!
Give it time...and votes! As the total vote count increases, it obviously takes more votes to swing the percentage. At this stage, hundreds of votes represent a single percentage point, instead of just dozens.

Workin' it...........
Set homepage to link and bump in blocks of five or ten as other pages are loading. It's a great way to spend Sunday morning with coffee. |

Dumped the cookies and voted like 50 times, but still 61 to 39 %.
The number of votes must be getting really high. I've been voting for an hour and can't change it.
Just voted again, still 61/39 @ 12:25PM MST 10/13/2002. Karl.
