both. assault rifles are to inaccurate for hunting and target shooting but just fine for long range people killing. [thurston howell]you see old boy these are just nasty ugly guns and they can't do anything but murder people.[/thurston howell]

What, you expect them to be consistent or something? There is no reason behind their thoughts, they simply hate guns and will never admit that they might be wrong. They see nothing unusual or wrong about making contradictory arguments, like AR15s are too inaccurate for "sporting" and too accurate for sniping.

I remember that quote, its from feistein. She said that they were made to wildly and inaccurately spray bullets, but the law would not take these valuble weapons out of the hands of police, who needed them for tactical reasons[rolleyes] heres one of my favorites: "The 2nd amendment was never intended to allow private citizens to 'keep and bear arms.' If it had, there would have been wording such as 'the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.'" -Ken Konecki, July 27, 1992
