Boston residents who selflessly filled the city's blood donation supply after the Marathon bombings last week are now using their skin as a way to commemorate the perseverance of their neighbors. Many Bostonians are getting tattoos to memorialize the three people killed in the bombing and the more than 250 others who were injured at the finish line. 'I did it on my leg for all the people who lost their legs to kind of pay tribute in that way,' Katie Collins said. Valuable property: Many feel that the tragedy- and the city's reaction to it- is something that they want to remember Pride: Colleen Cushman, 24, got the city skyline tattooed on her lower back in honor of the city's perseverance |

Idiots should be flocking to the local gun store.... Quoted for truth. |

This is a knee jerk reaction tattoo, most of those people probably are going to regret it. That's coming from a dirty inkie.

No thanks. Sorry but self mutilation is not a requirement of remembering something.

Boston on your neck? It's a wonder these people can stay alive day to day.
|
|
They just want people to say...."You were there ?!!!!!??" Wow...Your cool !

This "Boston Strong " thing is over the top,now these people prove it.These same people probably have stick figure families on their car as well.

I read the title as "Bosnians" so needless to say it was confusing at first. Neck tattoos are always a bad idea and none of that ink looks particularly good. At least they didn't get portraits of 0.

Alternately, one could simply look at their intact limbs and remember the Boston bombing.

Also, are the people sporting the "Boston Strong" tats the same people who cowering in fear inside their homes because one 19 year old kid was running around with a semi auto 9mm Ruger?

Have a stranger draw a permanent cartoon on you..... to remember you once lived in a town a homemade pipe/cooker bomb went off on?
Pass |

Slightly more dignified than those atrocious inner-city tribute T-shirts they make for dead friends, and a bit less dignified than the crass piles of junk left on roadside memorials after a traffic accident,

Wow...
Their bodies, their choice...but wow. I can see some "stolen valor" of sorts coming from this by some pathetic bastard in the future. "Yeah man, I was THERE! See that scar on my ankle? That's a shrapnel wound from the second bomb. If I had been only ten feet closer I wouldn't be here right now. I was so close that my ears are STILL ringing". Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

IIRC most of these fruit loops didn't do ANYTHING besides cower in their homes.
I'm sorry, but if you didn't take any injuries in the initial blasts, or the following firefights, shut your damn mouth and go home. |

Getting a tat to pretend you're some kind of survivor when in reality you just happen to live in the same city and got a day off work. |
