Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - MD shootings and gun sales.

Seeing as how media hysteria has a way of making guns fly off the shelves,  has anyone noticed more activity lately at their local shop? I spent the morning wandering around looking for another .45 and it seems to me things are pretty bare.  Of course it's only a couple of weeks from deer season,  but even the pistol selection has gotten pretty thin.  Any body else notice this?
