Looks good Tracker, congrats!!!

My Oct. '43 M1 wears an April '45 barrel. So it probably saw use in Europe and was rebuilt for use against the Nips. But sadly, probably didn't make it that far west in time. [;)]

Congrats.  There's only one organ more important than a Garand, and to be without either is a tragedy. [:D]

Cool, all you need now is one of those 1903s.

I have a Springfield from 1943, a Springfield from 1955 or so, and a Winchester stripped receiver from 1942 that I plan to build into a rifle one of these days.

Right on man!!
When did you place your order etc?  My order was received Aug 29, and I'm trying to figure out when I should be getting 'em.  ( I ordered a SG Springfield and a SG HRA).
