They were ok back in the day when they were the only option, now there is a lot better choices out there.

For example: M&P, XDM, PPQ, H&K

I must be weird.

To me, they are just another pistol.

I don't want one for me, but I don't hate them.

I was surprised to find how naturally I shoot a Glock. I know, weird grip angle and a goofy trigger,
but if I dont overthink it, I hit what I shooting at pretty dang quick. Its the closest to reflexive shooting
I`ve ever experienced.
Your mileage may vary.

I really do sit on the fence when it comes to Glocks.  I love my G20, but I don't know if it's because its a Glock or because 10mm is just so awesome.  I am eyeing a G34, but that also brings the M&P Pro, and XDm 5.25 into the mix.

I'm an XD guy, but I have nothing against Glock.  My buddy has one and although I can't quite get used to the feel, I shoot it pretty well.

I'd take my Glock to war over any other pistol.
If I could pick I'd do a Glock 18

Glocks are okay. I own three......having said that , I don't do much with them. I prefer my 1911's & Sig's over the Glocks. That's just me though.

I like Glocks, I carry a G26. They're great guns. But I don't engage in the "this gun is awesome, that gun sucks" war that goes on between the fanboys of various platforms. I don't hate one gun because I love another. It's just another option and as far as I'm concerned, the more options we have to choose from, the better.

If I was going to buy another, it would be a Gen4 G26 and that's it.

they're ok.  I'd rather carry my kahr and shoot my 92f then deal with my glock 17 but i have in the safe for some reason.

Well at least thats what I have noticed over the past few years. I am personally in the middle when it comes to Glocks. I like them , they shoot well , they have a reputation for being durable , and I own 4 of em (17 , 19 , 21 , 26). The only thing I can find wrong with them is that they are butt ugly. I just don't "love" them. Now a 1911 , there is true love , but we won't get into that.

Just curious how GD feels about Glocks in general? How many are like me and can live without Glocks , but do not despise them like some people do. Poll inbound.

I hate it when I get Glock-blocked

Me again,

I had 8 glocks at one time back in the late 90s. Sold them all over time and went with XDs, Berettas, HKs, 1911.......since, sold all again and currently own a glock 17 frame with a full time AA .22 kit on it, and a glock 21. I can shoot glocks better then any others I have tried (not including wheel guns) That 21 is deadly accurate......I know most won't believe me, and that's just fine. With every glock I have owned, I change out the trigget to a lighter one, change to an extedned slide stop and mag catch.....and put a plug in the ass end.

First Glock I shot turned me off to them for ten years.  It was a gen 2 G23 and I think it was a combo of me being a noob and it being a .40, a caliber that I still dislike. Then I drank the SIG coolaid, until I got some training and started carrying at first for just CCW and then for work.  Grabbed a G17 on a deal that I couldn't pass up.  Haven't looked back since.  All I carry are 9mm Glocks.

M&P FTMFW!!!

Shittiest trigger reset on any striker fired pistol, without a trigger job.  M&Ps are just blah to me.

Try one with the revamped sear block. Summer 2012 and later models.

I like that they are affordable, easy to work on, good aftermarket, and have a decent capacity. If I could only own one brand, it would likely be Glock. I've shied away from them as of late though due to the brass to face issue and have been trying handguns from other companies. I know the issue is likely overblown, but it bothers me to buy a gun that suddenly has an issue it previously didn't have. When it sounds like the issue is completely behind Glock, I will certainly be buying from them again. I like my gen 2 G19 and I would really like to get a gen 4 version of it.

Not my favorite gun, or most fun to shoot, but I have one that sits in my nightstand.  Never had any problems with it, it shoots super soft, and is very accurate and to 25 yards.

Big fan. Have a XDm 9mm full size too but the Glocks feel much better in my hand.

I have 19 21 22 23. All Gen 3's. Prob going to get a Gen 4 17 next or 30s. (gonna get both just waiting for retardedness to lesson)

Odd thing is how many folks "hate" Glocks. I have no bad feelings to other handguns. Just buy what feels good and I can shoot good. Don't feel the need to turn my nose up to what other folks like to shoot.

I just dont like the feel of them. Not a single one of them fit my hand as well as a 1911, hk, xd, fnp.

I understand theyre reliable but there's now guns out there that are just as reliable and significantly more ergonomic.

Own 21C, 30SF, and 26. Love them all. Easy to shoot and have complete confidence in them. However, I don't engage in the hate toward other models/manufacturers. Really enjoy my XDM 3.8 and CZ as well. A 1911 is probably my next purchase...

Have a G19 - trust it completely - if I could only own one pistol, this would be it

That said, my last 2 have been M&P's, and my next one will be another - best ergonomics - IMO - they run great, just haven't used them enough for the trust factor yet

I used to think of them as BIC lighters; ugly, functional, reliable, and priced right.

Then I realized that they were BIC lighters that gave me an uncanny ability to shoot the x-ring out of targets in very short order.

The only centerfire handgun I'm more accurate with is my 1911 but it's kinda heavy, expensive, low-capacity, pretty, etc.  If I knew I had to slog through a swamp and shoot something at the end of it, I'd choose a GLOCK every time.  They just work well for me.  If some people want to hate them, that's fine with me.

I like them and own two (G20C and G32C). And I still want a G37 in .45 GAP. But I don't consider them the end-all, be-all of handguns.

So, I voted "Like". They are good weapons, but not enough to rate the rabid fanboyism that it attracts.

Only have four.
I beat the crap out whatever I am carrying, and have learned to love the things for what they are.
An agricultural tool.

Grit, grease, sand, mud, sweat, water, oil, and nasty rotting fruit gunk, dosn't phase them like the 1911's and my darling Brownings.

As a bonus, Glocks get better looking the more they are thrashed.

Meh, they're OK. Had a G22, sold it and picked up a G19. Both were 3rd gen. I would never buy anything but a 3rd gen, the 4th gen bullshit can go die in a fire.

I respect them for what they offer... A cheap and reliable gun that is easy to teach "non shooters" with.  I own a few, but do not love them the same as other guns I own.   Glock are tools, not items to love.

Given my druthers, I will choose something else as the grip doesn't fit me after the first gen was phased out.
For a polymer gun these days, I'll take an M&P with Apex internals.
For metal frame... 1911, BHP and CZ offer better choices for me.

Once modified a little bit, trigger work, grip reduction ect. it's a fantastic gun while not the most accurate gun I own or anything it will still put a 3" circle in at 15 yards and MOBG at 50 yards with my shitty sight.
