Just got through watching it.  Damn, what a movie.  There is a lot of hype about the story and the carnage, but I actually found that to be somewhat subdued relatively speaking.  What made it so great was that it really developed most of the characters and was pretty serious about its subject matter.  Not campy like a horror film at all.  If you get a chance, check it out.

BTW, it is a Japanese film about near future Japan with delinquents run amok so they take a class at a time and put them on an island with the rule that there is only one survivor.  The movie hasn't been released in the US, but I got a british R0 DVD subtitled.

yes its a good movie sadly i bet it would get butchered if it ever made it to the states
