For PA members and other in surrounding states: Author of "Send in the Waco Killers" and pro-gun writer Vin Suprynowicz is coming to Kung of Prussia, PA to talk and meet.

I'm definitely going to be there. Is anybody else interested?

Tuesday October 1st, 2002

An Evening With Vin Suprynowicz

King of Prussia Holiday Inn, 260 Mall Blvd (across from King of Prussia
Shopping Plaza), King of Prussia, Pa.

Time: 7:30 PM

Cost: $8 or 2 for $13 which includes a $3 coupon for a Vin book

Cocktails and food will be available for purchase from the hotel
bar/restaurant.

Vin will be speaking, answering questions, and of course, signing books.
We have both of his books for sale: "Send in the Waco Killers" and
"The Ballad of Carl Drega."

We've set up an e-mail address for questions/concerns: [email protected]
I'm hoping that people will R.S.V.P via e-mail if they intend to come so
we can get an idea for attendance.

Please, Please, let us know you're coming!

A website is in development which hopefully will be up in a day or two.

I imagine a bunch of us will meet for dinner at the hotel at around 6 PM or
so, but we're not certain about that yet.

It's planned to send out a post card mailing and if you have a decent local
list of names I should add to this mailing, please let us know at
[email protected].

I certainly appreciate any help you can give to spread the word.

I'll let you know as we think of other things.

Thanks for your help and input.

--Andy

P.S.:   The admission fee is set to "break even" on a relatively
small crowd, just in case.  This is all for fun!

PLEASE CROSS POST TO APPROPRIATE INDIVIDUALS AND LISTS!

Aw, Vin's THE MAN! That event would definitely be a must-see if you're anywhere within driving range. One of my favorite Suprynowicz-isms:

"...It does not say 'shall not be infringed, unless the weapon in question is really scary.' They're SUPPOSED to be scary. The occupants of Washington City are supposed to go to bed every night, wondering if anything they've done today will get them what it got Charles the First in 1649, or Louis XVI in 1793."

He will do nothing but make the republicans lose elections in your state.

Just got back right now. I'm very glad I went. Vin talked about a lot of stuff, and he made a lot of sense. I ended up getting both his books(and got one signed :). I've read some of his columns before, and I liked them.  It was worth the 8 bucks to see him talk and to meet him.
