NEW YORK (Reuters) - A 24-year-old Russian cop who would rather catch criminals than cut ribbons was stripped of her crown as the reigning Miss Universe ( news - web sites) because she failed to fulfill her duties, pageant organizers said on Tuesday.

Real women apparently need not apply for such contests these days (or at least ones run by NBC and Donald Trump). Only airhead model bimbos with no assets other than their looks need apply. She should sue THEM for wasting her time.

Donald Trump stated (and he runs the show) the only reason she was replaced was because she could not meet her travel commitments due to her mother's failing health. He said the rumors that she was pregnant or married are false.

Of course, he could be lying.

Let's see, you win a contest that showers you with fame and fortune and opportunity. Your end of the bargain is you serve as the pageant's ambassador for a year. You are either unable or unwilling to uphold your end. Pageant replaces you with first runner-up, whose purpose is to address such contingencies.

Look, she had a job, she was derelict in fulfilling it, she was FIRED!

How long do you think you could go on just telling your boss you weren't going to do your work before you got fired?

Take your eyes off her breasts and start thinking with your other head. She deserved to get fired.
