This is kind of imaginative.  Preban mag parts!  Disassemble your mag and you got parts. Parts are parts as they say.

Why go thru all that trouble?

Ive seen MANY 30 rounders.. passed off as 10 rd mags..

I was under the impresion that all you had to do was list the item as a "10 rd mag" and all was cool..

did ebay start cracking down?

the only way I can sell high cap mags on ebay with out getting them cancled, is by saying at the beginning of my description....

ATTENTION EBAY, THIS IS A 10 ROUND MAG, DO NOT CANCEL MY AUCTION!

but then in my description I make it obvious (as if the picture isnt obvious enough) by stating the length of the mag. I just sold a 65 round AR mag on ebay.

Sooooooo...if you wanted to sell a firearm, could you just field strip it and sell it as parts too?

Of course, there are plenty of gun auction sites out there where you dont have to mess with this.
