As I've been saying in other threads, the opposition put up a petition on the whitehouse site right after the shooting and got a record number of signatures. I think it is at 187,000 or somthing like that right now. They are using it as an example to show that the people are now ready for gun control.

The financial crisis, as well as the blatant refusal to pass a budget for years, are intentional. Break the country so you can then rebuild it the way you want it, redistributing it's wealth to benefit your political allies. And the attack on the 2A is an effort to disolve a conservative voting block tens of millions strong. Give 2A advocates no reason to vote and you've got a one party system, and fewer voting conservative dems. |
