I've got like $200 in credit card cash rewards, does that count?

Could never deal with not being able to deposit/withdraw cash with USAA.

I haven't seen anything yet.  I got $60 last year.  Wonder where it is.

I have a checking account at a local bank as well, and USAA let me link my USAA checking account to it---if I need to deposit cash I just do it with the local branch, then transfer the funds to the USAA account.

WTF, I have checking, savings, 2 credit cards, 2 CD's, a teen checking account and auto insurance through USAA. I called to ask where my money was and they said I don't get any, its only for "high end" members.

I still love USAA, actually found that sort of humorous.

I got $20.

Way I figure it is other banks charge me $7 a month for checking, while USAA gives me money for their checking.

hmm...got a check from them a few days ago for like $1.86, but that was because they adjusted my auto insurance rate DOWN.  Never had that happen before.

Mine has been $135-150 for the last few years if I remember correctly. I'll have to drag my ass on down to the mailbox today and see if it's there.

Like everyone else, I love my USAA. They took great care of us after my wife's car accident, and also after a severe amount of water damage to my house after our laundry machine's supply hose decided to burst while we were away and flow water all across our house.

I played a charity golf tournament a couple months ago, and one of the sponsors, who was an insurance agent, was holding a drawing for a box of nice cigars, so I dropped my card in the bowl for the drawing. A couple weeks later, I got a phone call from that gal saying, "Yeah, Mr Revrat, I remember at that golf tournament you were saying you were interested in looking at our insurance products." I told her she had to be mistaken, that I was happy with my current insurer, but she could try to wow me. She asked who I was insured with, and as soon as I told her USAA, she was quite ready to end the conversation and move on to the next prospect. She was at least honest in telling me that she could not compete and did not try to sell to me anyway. I seem to remember from that tournament that she liked to drink, smoke cigars, and had nice, nice boobies too.

Every year the board deposits the profits of USAA into the members SSA.

Every year the board decides hw much money the company needs as a basis.

Anything you have in the SSA above that amount get refunded to you.

It ussally takes a good number of years to build up the equity in the account to have more than the minimum in order to get the excess.

All my banking is with NFCU so it just goes into the SA instead of a check.  I won't find out until February when the statement comes in the mail.
How does it compare to the  December 2010 payout?  I got $172 then.
