This is stupid of me. I should have been taking notes.

While listening to the radio yesterday, I caught a blurb of Bushs' NEW plan for Homeland Security.

The NEW plan basically gives him the right to govern and CONTROL all of the various agencies that make-up the Homeland Security system.

Basically, I believe this would give DICTATOR status.

Did anyone else hear about this? Where can I find some more news blurbs about it?

Who knows! Write, CALL, and EMAIL your reps. Tell them to NOT VOTE for this crap or anything w/ TIPS in it! Tell them their reelection depends on it!

What I get from the items I've read is that President Bush wants the power to fire US employees who are in the Homeland Security Department if they totally f*ck up. He can fire some US employees now, but most simply can not be fired. This is not dictatorial power and the employees would still be protected by written rules and procedures.

The second and main issue of contention is that Daschle, Clinton, Kennedy et al. want pork in their states solely for benefit of the democRAT-Criminal-Solicialists and their supporters, or they won't give money for Homeland Security. This is what President Bush objects to and you should support him.

Today the US is locally controlled by state, county, and city personal, AND by Federal authorities. President Bush is not seeking to change that significantly. TIPS does bother me, but in reality this would only formalize what happens now anyways. TIPS has been rolled back to almost nothing already.

I say send email in support of your President. I say send email against the short-sighted and selfish democRATS-Criminals.

Conservatives should push for a formal Federal duputy program in suburban and rural America. If done properly this could save America from the democRAT-Crimonals.

The criminality of Politicians is bipartisan. They are ALL bad, I just vote for the ones that aren't as bad os the others. I usually vote Republican. GW Bush is no Republican, IMHO.

Most Americans want Bush to clean the Clintonistas and their progeny out of the beauracies in which they are entrenched.

We have these creeps in all the alphabet agencies and in justice...and all their flunkies...

Bush needs to be able to clean house or we are just gonna go through the motions of being anti terror...

The Kennedys, Dassholes, Clintons and McAullifes are going to keep us mired in their petty BS and when the machine breaks down...they will blame Bush and Repubs

Uhh...maybe you are missing something here, but the President already controls everyone who works for the Executive Branch. He is the top rung on their respective chains of command. Most federal employees are ultimately employed by the Executive branch of the government, with the President at the the top. Things were set up that way in the Constitution.
