Are we really going to disarm if told to? Will you give up your guns? Will they really dare to try and take more of our freedom? I am not a conspiracy nut and I try and see the good in all things but i am starting to get more than a little worried here. Where is "your line" in the sand drawn? I think i have finally figured out where i will draw the line and it's not that far off. Am i being overly paranoid or are some of you thinking the same thing? I live in one of the 13 original colonies and i can say i am ashamed of what has become of most of the freedoms of those original colonies. Rating of freedom and gun rights Virginia -great gun laws and freedom Massachusetts -are you kidding Maryland -are you kidding Connecticut -so so Rhode Island -pretty good Delaware -great gun laws and freedom New Hampshire -great gun laws and freedom North Carolina -great gun laws and freedom South Carolina -great gun laws and freedom New Jersey -They SUCK! New York -good except for New York city Pennsylvania -great gun laws and freedom Georgia -great gun laws and freedom While doing a little research on my own state gun laws i came across the law which says that I am "permitted" to carry a hand gun on my own property concealed or unconcealed in my home (I knew that) or anywhere on my property. Hey what do you think would happen if I am cutting the grass in the front yard tomorrow with my .45 auto in a shoulder rig in plain view?

It will be interesting! Every other country that has been disarmed has had a right granted and then rescinded. I this country, they will be trying to take away a right that the founders say is a God given right that is only affirmed by the Bill Of Rights. The arguments over whether the second guarantees this right to individuals or to the state is ludicrous. The Bill of Rights establishes basic American civil liberties that the government cannot violate. I WILL NOT GIVE UP MINE!!!

Yes, they will continue to try to take away our freedoms. IMHO, "Their" agenda is much greater than just gun control, and you don't have to be a conspiracy "nut" to figure that out. As for your list of the conditions in various states, I'm not familiar with all the details, but it seems to me that there are quite a few restrictive laws in several of the "good" states. For example, I believe you cannot hunt with a semi-automatic rifle in NY, and I've heard that deer hunting is with shotguns only in much of the state...? I know you can't carry a concealed weapon in SC on SCDNR property, even with a CWP. This seems senseless. I don't remember the details, but PA has some caused me to think twice about moving there. As for where I've drawn the line thus far...I've told my wife I refuse to live in NJ again, along with the other Socialist states up there (MD, MA, etc).

God may have giveth but the gubment taketh away. It is time for us to realize that the gov does not look at our rights, either God given or man made, the same as we do. They (rights) are something that can and will be used to manipulate the populace. Don't let them do it. No, I don't have the answer as to HOW not to let them but hey, nobody is perfect.[50]

We all pick one state, or more (preferably one with a large tax base), move to it, take over it's state government (legally), and announce to the federal government that we will succeed from the union to reestablish the Constitutional government of our fore fathers.

**Sorry if I cut the quote wrong** Try www.freestateproject.com the idea is just like you are proposing. Myself I’m moving to NH, I just got a job up there and when I gave a real estate agent my business card (firearms instructor, it has my phone # on it) he said that I would fit in well in this town because “Everyone here has a Bushmaster under their bed.” The advise I got about shooting on private property if anyone complains the COP said to send them to him. [:)] Also by NH law you can pick up your kid at school carrying it you have a (shall issue)pistol permit.

Why do you think they are going to take our guns?? They don't need to, everything is going according to plan. World socialism is almost a done deal. Americans have already given up most of their freedom. Guns do no good unless you know when to use them. As long as you pay the rent on the land you "own", and pay for the "priviledge" to work, and don't make too much noise, you'll be fine. We aren't "free" now, and haven't been in our lifetimes. If you don't know what you've lost, then you don't know when to fight......

as a new yorker I must correct your list. NY is "ok except NY City" NY has it's own AW and highcap ban similar to the feds with the same date, 9/13/94/ for handguns you have to have a license, and get the gun added to the records before taking possesion
