Kids need something to reach for--they have no role models," said Janet Edmond, who helped organize the bus with the children

What's the big deal? When I was growing up, my role model was John Wayne Gacy. [whacko]

The stupid bitch who came up with this shit is probably a charter member of the Orchid Club (no defunct because of prosecution, but they liked the young'uns).  The parents ought to be flogged for allowing their kids to participate in this.

Surrounded by Cook County sheriff's deputies, Kelly waved to his fans and walked into court.

Hope he didn't have too much trouble sitting down...

"He showed us he loved us," said Tenisha Jones, 14.

I'll bet he would "love" to show you something else Tenisha!

The children screamed as if at a concert. They said they loved seeing Kelly wave to them.

Somehow, I just don't think my retirement years are going to be very much fun.

A woman in regal African garb called "Queen Sister" shook her head at the adults and children in the R. Kelly T-shirts and said she hopes the children will be in school when Kelly comes back for his next court date Sept. 20.

"How far will we let our children walk blindly and be manipulated?" she asked.

Yes, I wonder that myself.  Sounds like Queen Sister feels the same way I do.

Remember the Alamo, and God Bless Texas...

[shock] WTF?!?!?!  A role model?  Since when do we make child molesters role models?  This guy has a long history of sexual deviance.

Kelly has been fighting allegations about his sex life for years. He has been the focus of at least four lawsuits, three of which accuse him of having sex with underage girls.

He has acknowledged settling two of the lawsuits regarding underage sex, but insists that he did so only on advice of his lawyers and maintains that he did not have sex with minors.

In the third suit, filed April 29, a woman claims Kelly had sex with her when she was a minor and forced her to have an abortion.

In another lawsuit, Montina "Tina" Woods, a 33-year-old dancer, accuses Kelly of secretly taping their sexual encounter at his recording studio.

Kelly was previously married to Aaliyah, who was killed last year in a plane crash. But that marriage was annulled because she was only 15 when she applied for a marriage license.

Unbelievable!  The parents of the kids on the bus need a visit from Social Services.  I wonder how many of these kids have been molested, themselves?
