Look at the people that only look normal but think abnormal. The place is crawling with tree hugging, gun hating, tax raising, "under God" hating, freedom hating liberals.

Most of the "cool" gunshops are closed now, thanks to the draconian gun laws. B&B Guns, the guys who supplied LAPD for the North Hollywood shootout, is gone for good. Turner's is still around. They're a chain and have a dozen or more stores in the area. Red Star Arms in Culver City is okay, and it's across the street from Martin B. Retting, and there's The Reloading Center in Reseda. I know a guy who ran into Tom Selleck buying reloading supplies one day. Said he's a real nice down to earth guy. ARM USA is in Anaheim. Real nice folks and they post on this board. They have some cool .50 cals.

You didn't mention it, but are you taking kids? There are tons of amusement parks around, but for something different go see the La Brea Tar Pits. Interesting. Unique. Educational. For a nice scenic drive go north on PCH from Santa Monica, or south on PCH from Seal Beach down to Laguna Beach. If you're into museums, the Gene Autry Western Heritage museum is great. They used to have some kick-ass outdoor concerts there but we haven't been in a few years. I hear the J. Paul Getty museum is pretty good but I've never been there.

Last time I was in Vegas, the wife and I rented an SUV and did a big tour of Arizona, Nevada, ect. One day I drove into Cali and got off at an exit in the desert just so I could take a pi$$ in that state, turned around and went back[%|] (it's true) [;D]
