A while back my wife was giving me grief for building too many rifles. I had the bright idea to start saying things like, "I'm building something for you," "You need something like this," and "But we could match if we were both shooting .308, it would be cute."
Things were fine until she actually started laying claim to them

.40 S&W Tactical Sport magazine that was tough to insert and would not drop free.

Got out the hobby sander, took off some metal (not much) on/around the obvious finish wear spots, cold blued it and now it works fine.  Whole story is that the first time I was outside the temps were in the 40's and the magazine worked fine - till I brought it in the house and let the pistol/magazine get up to 72F.  Then it hung up again.  Did a repeat of the sanding, measuring with calipers and comparing to a magazine that worked, then cold bluing again, wiped it with oil and now it works great regardless of temperature.  Used pistol, used (well used) magazine.  Those darn things are expensive as hell from CZ USA.
