Heh, wow, I know of that organization. My RAGING LIBERAL of a creative writing teacher made us read a magazine, Teen Ink, that was basically a giant festering breeding ground for a bunch of whiny liberal teenagers to complain and write poetry about everything and how their lives are horrible. Anyway, they had a contest once, that was for a poster for that organization. It was supposed to stop teen handgun violence, but all the entries ended up calling out for a total gun ban. The winner was some typical trite liberal crap with crying and a gun with a message about how guns will immediately cause you to want to murder people, and kittens, and puppies, and your parents and if you own a gun all the puppies in the world will die. Or something like that.
Anyway, the contest mentioned some absolute crap about how "guns are still one of the easiest and most unchecked areas in America". I felt ill reading this. Such utter crap.
I just want to say, on behalf of all sane teenagers (me being 17), THESE PEOPLE DO NOT SPEAK FOR ALL OF US. There are some of us out there with functioning brains. And, they do not speak for all teens in California. Please don't write us all off. Not all hope is lost with us. :0
"Niko: It is also easier to change kids' minds. Adults are set in their beliefs, and their agendas - kids are open to new ideas and can sometimes see the truth a little better."
Well, the liberals are training vultures rather young these days. Yeah, go ahead and try to convince me.
