Out of HS for 8 years,

Since H.S. I went from Electronic Tech for TV/VCR to Broadcast engineer for local TV station to electronic tech for tape backup drives, to Electronic Tech for TV/VCR to Auto Mechanic, to Heavy Equipment mechanic, to ISP tech support to DSL support tech.

other than a couple sememters of school, I haven't any formal training for any of the above. I tend to be able to just figure stuff out. Perhaps that why I get so bored.

I am a VP of Marketing with a major company and I make enough to not want to talk about it.............you need to weigh your survey and study. AR's are not cheap and not indicative of those nasty "Assault Weapons". Alot of us lean towards the rifle due to past military experience and others to present military use.

Most of the "Budweiser Gang" shoot AK's or less. Try poling the cops on what type of mag feed weapons they confiscate. They could give you your weight factor. (%compared to total number, double ratio kind of thing.)They are cheaper and lower maintainence. "Budweiser Gang" is what I call guys who worship the Budweiser God or his angels, drugs for they will give everyting in his name.

This site will be slanted white or professional blue collar. I have found even the smart asses on this site appear to be of high IQ and decent guys. (Yes, I know I opened myself up for a smartass comeback. I like em.) Half of these guys can tell you how many turns of the CNC it takes to make the barrel. I would expect IQs 130 and better. Criminal dudes are not smart, can't type, don't communicate well with smart people, and won't be (with a few exceptions) on this site. Unless you count Enron execs. LOL With all the cops on this site, they would be crazy as well as stupid.

Of course sometimes I feel half of the AR's in the country are represented on this site and all of them owned by a handfull of members and they won't let me play with them. LOL

exactly! thats what i'm trying to do i've found some interesting things so far and i will post the survey results and the highlights of my paper when complete

Tom_Jefferson has it. AR's & their owners are more likely to be higher IQ & income. Its hard to own multiple $600+ rifles on a low income. Add in a couple of pre-bans & you can see that my AR's alone are worth more that some peoples homes. That doesn't even take into account the bolt guns, shotguns & pistols.......

send me one, I have couple of evil "assault weapons" but not an AR....

I could help take the bias off the AR specifically.

You may want to asks some guys with M1 garands and carbines M1a's, SKS's, L1a's, and of course the AKs...

Check out the AK bpards as well.

Some of us aint made of money, but we like our bayo lugs and hicaps too.
