Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Any RKI's for automatic Pool Cleaners out there?

Are automatic pool cleaners any good?  If so, which ones work?

I have been looking at the polaris 3 wheel models.  It looks like the external power model would be best to me.

Anybody got experience with pool cleaners?

All help is appreciated.

Ken,

I have a Polaris 3 wheel model, I don't recall the model number.  It works pretty good, but you can a bunch of money for one (my pool came with it).

You need an extra motor/pump to operate my Polaris and it has its own water supply line.  I think this works better than the ones that use a skimmer location.
