DF, they are raising the price because they can't operate anything efficiently. I sent out 100 small items in the last year and out of the 100 7 items were lost or broken, not too mention the majority of the USPS counter people are RUDE.

Since they can't deliver the mail in a timely manner... they decided to charge us for storage. [:D]

What I hate hearing is when people say "well, before you complain about the postage rate hike, try sending a first class letter across any other country in 2 days, for the equivalent of 37 cents." First of all, mail from Maine takes 2 days to reach me in NH, and more like 4 to 6 days from across the country. In Germany you pay out the nose (compared the the USA) to send a letter via [i]Deutsche Bundespost[/i] but it gets there fast, in perfect condition, and the rate doesn't go up 10 [i]pfennig[/i] every year or so. I don't mind paying more for something as long as I'm getting my money's worth.
