I need help finding a web site that identifies upper and lower receivers.I just bought a like new AR 15 and the receiver is marked PWA.I don't know about the upper but both are cherry.Are PWA receivers good quality?thanks for any help you can give me.

This doesn't answer your question, but I just got the Machine Gun Dealer's Bible by Dan Shea and it has a great guide to M16 models.

If you go the Uppers, lowers, and Rifles Forum, you should get a lot of info. From what I`ve read, PWAs are well regarded. HTH
