rebs are.....people are starting to see things differently...just this week we had the beginning of the end for the catholic church..no debate on this one....lawsuits will eat them up..and their stance can be contrived to be approval....And big business begins a slow fall--aurthur anderson, enron, et al. Now we have a republican bunch who freely admit that they cannot control the terrorism situation and are about to get burned big time by the previous knowledge info...and this will spill over to the dems because slick willy is going to get pulled back up.....great times for watching the mighty fall.......now if it just happens fast enough to keep shrub from penning away the entire BOR...

What?
The "rebs" (I think you mean reps...or Republicans.) are not afraid...they are in the drivers' seats. What should they fear?
The Catholic Church will take a terrible beating but trust me...the Church has more than sufficient funds to absorb many hundreds of [expensive] lawsuits. The faithfull have not lost their faith...just their trust in many of the perv priests. This will fix itself. Mega-crisis? Absolutely. Survivable? Most certainly.
"Big Business" (There we go again...those EVIL capitalists!) is not in a "slow fall" The death of Enron/Anderson/Tyco...and a score of others are not going to bring the American economy down. The market will probably continue to slip and slide and not come roaring out of the recession for another two or three quarters, but the basic fundamentals of our economy are still very strong.
The Bush Administration and the Republicans are not about to be consumed by the war on terror. Actually, they are doing a damn fine job...especially considering the limitations placed upon them by the PC world. I can imagine that you, like so many of those members of DU and the fifty or so usual suspects in Congress that would like to tar Bush and his cronies with the foreknowledge of the attacks. Problem is, it just ain't so...and there is absolutely no credible evidence that he or any member of the administration knew ahead of time, despite the rumors, innuendo and outright lies from the howling lefties and the media...(Wait...ain't that redundant?). Try as Time magazine or Newsweek might...and they did try hard...it isn't true and it won't stick. YOU may believe it until your dying day...the majority of the American voters will reject that goofy idea this fall as they will in '04. You are pissing in the wind on this one.
All things considered...it's a bit hard for Bush to, "...pen away the BOR". Fact is...the Constitution is still strong and he can't just negate our rights. Stay alert but don't fear. The sky ain't fallin' yet.
Finally, I haven't a clue what you mean about Ol' Slick. Would you care to enlighten me?
Cheers,
[beer]
