As I was driving up I-5 I saw a very tight formation that could have only been the Thunderbirds or the Blue Angels. And it would only be the Blue Angels if they were just showing off for the AF guys! Does anyone know if there's a show this weekend?

I couldn't ID the planes because they were a ways off and it's a little hazy today. I would say they were F-16's.

It's not the Thunderbirds, just some visiting F-16's flying practice formation and touch & go's. Been buzzin the area close to a week now. They're wearing the traditional low visability grey paint scheme. Impressive to watch if your in the McChord area and not driving down I-5. [-=(_)=-]

That explains why they were hard to ID! If they'd been the T-birds, I think I could have seen the paint. These guys were hard to see in the haze, even when cornering.
