Not trying to be morbid or anything. A lot of close friends and relatives of mine have died over the last few years and I'm starting to think of things like this.

Song #1 would be "I'll remeber you" by Sarah McGlocklon (sp?)

Song #2 would be "I'll be missing you" by Puff Daddy & Faith Evans

Peace

Joe Kilna McKenzie penned the moving air 'Sgt MacKenzie' in memory of his great grandfather who was slain in the trenches of France in World War I.

It's a kick ass song.

You may remember it from the movie 'We were soldiers once'

Saw it in an Elvis Presley documentary:

"My Way" followed by "American Trilogy"

"My Way"
And now, the end is near;
And so I face the final curtain.
My friend, I'll say it clear,
I'll state my case, of which I'm certain.

I've lived a life that's full.
I've traveled each and ev'ry highway;
But more, much more than this,
I did it my way.

Regrets, I've had a few;
But then again, too few to mention.
I did what I had to do
And saw it through without exemption.

I planned each charted course;
Each careful step along the byway,
But more, much more than this,
I did it my way.

Yes, there were times, I'm sure you knew
When I bit off more than I could chew.
But through it all, when there was doubt,
I ate it up and spit it out.
I faced it all and I stood tall;
And did it my way.

I've loved, I've laughed and cried.
I've had my fill; my share of losing.
And now, as tears subside,
find it all so amusing.

To think I did all that;
And may I say - not in a shy way,
No, oh no not me,
did it my way.

For what is a man, what has he got?
If not himself, then he has naught.
To say the things he truly feels;
And not the words of one who kneels.
The record shows I took the blows -
And did it my way!
The record shows I took the blows -
And did it my way!

"American Trilogy"
Oh I wish I was in the land of cotton,
old times there are not forgotton,
look away, look away, look away dixieland

Glory, glory hallelujah,
Glory, glory hallelujah,
Glory, glory hallelujah,
His truth is marching on.

So hush little baby don't you cry,
you know your daddy's bound to die,
and all my trials Lord,
will soon be over.

Glory, glory hallelujah,
Glory, glory hallelujah,
Glory, glory hallelujah,
His truth is marching on,
His truth is marching on.

Caveman, my wife just went through the death of her grandmother with views such as yours.  She wanted no funeral or anything else.  Witnessing what my wife went through with NO closer was horifying...

As far as I'm concerned people with your views are the most insensitive people on the planet with no regard to the people they leave behind.

YOU may not care, but I guarentee you that those left behind do.  They care a great deal.

As TRWs casket sinks slowly into the grave, a gloved hand reaches for the switch and turns it on.  In a few seconds, the the loud speakers belch out.....

"Oh.....I wish I was an Oscar Meyer weiner.  That is what I'd truly like to be, and if I was an Oscar Meyer weiner, everyone would be in love with me".
