What kind of max velocity are you getting from those 240's???
I'm NOT a big fan of 300 BLK, but the ability to shoot Hard-Cast Lead is EXTREMELY attractive to me...
What magazines do you use to shoot those big lead cartridges??? Some kind of PMag, or 556 mags?
modified p-mag. internal neck ribs removed. and I have some usgi's that work good too..
Nice, so would these Boolits work?
It's a NOE mould that's supposed to cast .314" 129grain Spitzer Gas Check boolits...
However, when hardcasting with water-dropped wheel-weight + tin alloy, I'm seeing them drop between .312 to .313, and could be sized down to .311 or .312...
Would something like that with 30 cal gas checks shoot through one of these alright? Their actual drop-weight after sized & lubed with gas check is actually closer to 134 or 135 grains... I use them on my 7.62x39mm AK handloads.
The plate/tin full of boolits isn't my pic - that's earlier prototype boolits. The ones from my mould are much sharper-pointed spitzer tip, and look better too. I figure it might be able to shoot these with a supersonic higher velocity load for those of us in a non-suppressor-friendly state.
