I think a base jumper's parachute might work in some instances.

wouldn't having your nail clippers confiscated at airport security be better? I mean It would give you that "safe" feeling! [BD]


I thought about having a BASE rig like Am-O-Tramp mentioned... even higher floors you could get by with a standard rig (skydiving)


Coming up with a rope long enough could be a problem, however, rapelling down to a lower floor may be something to consider.  Then there is the fire factor..ropes don't like fire!
