Okay, i am getting ready to get a camcorder. A sony MiniDV camcorder. I want to be able to download footage that i have taken from my camcorder to my computer. Edit it or do what ever and then make a dvd of the footage. Here's the question: I dont think my dvd player will play cd-r's. So, if i had a dvd burner, what format would i burn the footage with. In other words, would the footage that i have taken be in mpeg format? Will dvd players read mpegs? AVI's? or what? ANY info would be helpful ......thanks
