Absolutely Anti!

Although we'll be nowhere as well attended as y'all, we'll do our part for AR15.com family unity!

I say we hoist a glass as a contemporaneous toast to the friends of the RKBA at 8:00 PM sharp Saturday everywhere we may be!

Pass it on!

We could even do it next Saturday at our BRC banquet!

Let everyone know and no matter where you may be, toast our country and the RKBA in particular, at that same time!

In a 100 years, I hope the same toast will be made! Can be made!

And right you are, mojo!

I was just testing you guys, right?

No, actually, I was looking at the 1885 calendar I keep from the Farm!

mojo, now cut that out!

You know that ilikelegs adopted that 'laid back' position from watching all those gangbanger movies!

It's how you would fire a PDW from a slowly moving 1964 Chevy Impala during a drive-by in East L.A.!

If you had simply seen him fire his  pistol 'gangsta' style, you would have known this!

Yes, now that you mentioned it, ilikelegs, we will simply have to have your soon-to-be-world-famous very hot chilli at the Hun Fun & Sun Shoot at the end of June!

You should call it the 'Ilikelegs Scalded Chilli' or some such sobriquet.

Eric,
Where do I sign up? This sounds like a lot of fun. I will be at the gun show Saturday. Can I get details from you there?
BTW I met you at the BRC, I live in Plano on Custer.

Thanks,

bryanshoe, just let me know you're coming, 'cause all are invited!

I'll be at the Market Hall Gun Show, most likely sitting at Brother Nick's tables right next to the concession stands.

Come see me! Yes, I remember you from the BRC!

Lord, how long must I put up with these infidels?

You're late getting to the Gun Show once in your life and certain honorary Texans will never let you live it down!

The Lord Himself has forgiven me, can you?

Yes, propane bottles, either empty or full, make nice targets.

My brother and I set up a full propane bottle at the bottom of the hill near the cabin.

I hit it with the first round from an AR-15 and it just disappeared.

Suddenly my brother hollers 'watch out' and I noticed that the thing was rocketing back towards us.

It hit the picnic table with such force that it dented the wood and knocked a shovel down.

So please be careful, that's all!

And pick up the 'holy' bottle when finished.

I don't want to hear from Ricky how the ragged edged bottle injured one of his cows![:D]

Eric and Fullclip:

Fullclip, you said you were attending as your wife wanted to visit relatives in Thalia.  My wife was raised in Thalia.  She is a MOORE.  Her brothers are Bob and Jesse.  They both still live between Crowell and Thalia and farm and ranch the area.  Eric, where exactly is your land???? I would love to come up and meet some of you and do a little shooting.  I might even have my brother-in-law whip up some of his pork tenderloin.

Hey nurse!

The Farm is known locally as 'The Teague Farm' and is owned by the descendants of four Teague sisters.

If your wife knows Crowell, then she knows my Great Aunt Jewell Teague Sollis, who died last year, after teaching in Crowell schools since 1950 or so!

Everyone knew 'Jewell Sollis.'

My grandmother used to run the 'Wildcat Den' right across the street from the Crowell schools.

The Teague Farm is about 8.5 miles Northwest of Crowell, along the Pease River, which separates Foard and Hardeman Counties.

Ricky Eavenson leases the farmland from our family.

My father was born on that farm, as was my grandmother.

Nurse, my wifes family name was Matus, if I rccall correctly the family farm was northwest of Thalia. There are still some cousins there. The name Naylor comes to mind as a neighbor of the grandparents.... fullclip

We'll have to do some serious planning as to where we are going to shoot since there will be so many ATVs at the farm. I personally don't want to take a bullet while riding my quad. [:D]

What's a sucking chest wound among friends, eh?

We'll see you get a decent burial, of course.

I'm only bringing the 300 WSM, a .22 lever action and a pistol. I plan on doing more riding than shooting.

I don't blame you bunghole, I'd be riding that new quad for all I was worth!

You know you can take it down on the river and go for miles.

Your new 4-wheeler might get a bit dirty, but you'll love it!
