When I was a kid there was a Fox body DPS mustang that I would see every once in a while out on hour little country highway that I drooled over. Back in the Day, Ford had a cool ad "The Boss is back, and this time he's wearing a badge" ETA: Found this one http://cache.gawkerassets.com/assets/images/12/2010/03/500x_ford_mustang_police_car.jpg Back in the day, Alabama SP used AMC Javelins for interceptors. MA, NH, OR, TX, and RI, NY is sharp too but the purple tie is weird.

Louisiana State Police uniforms look the best, hands down. That two-tone shit looks like a local sheriff's uniforms.

I happen to like the purple ties of the NYSP, very distinctive, and gave rise to the their nickname of "The Purple." The purple is actually to signify that they are considered an "elite unit" within state's law enforcement community, of course one can debate the appropriateness of that, similar to the noted color markings of the Praetorian Guard in Ancient Rome from which it was inspired. Purple is the color of Valor. +1 For the long gray line. Its hard to beat the stetson and purple tie. |

Which State Police Have the best looking uniform?
If you're into the Sturmabteilung look, the shitwits at the NJSP will be at the top of the list. |

I know its cheating but IMO the red serge dress uniform of the RCMP looks the best.
