I'm in an argument with someone, and a
list of the number of equipment the NYPD
owns, from Pistols to Rifles, to
NFA items to APCs etc would be useful.

Anyone know anyone who has those?

I have personally seen one Browning Automatic Rifle, heard rumours of AK47s, and handled MP5s, Mini14s, etc.

I doubt the BAR was standard issue. Just something they either confiscated or owned since the 40s :)

I doubt you will be able to find a list of 'department' guns and their quantity.
