I realize that day trading is one of the fastest ways known to man to lose money, but I jumped in yesterday and made a little pocket change.  After studying "technical analysis" online for a few days and consulting w/ someone smarter than me, I opened an account at Datek, deposited $5K, and bought 160 shares of QQQs when I detected an upturn on the charts.  Sold them the next day (today) and pocketed a $239 after the $9.95 commission.  $239 won't make me rich, but it ain't nothin' to sneeze at.  Someone stop me before I trade again.

Yeah, I trade options.  I was really taking lots of losses consistently last year, but for April and this month, I've been doing much better.  Good opportunities everywhere now.
