Pardon the spelling of the locations but this is how they're pronounced.

K-hin (north) Curri-ham-ma (Kurihama) - This is an area with several five hundred year old plus temples. I went there before sun up one foggy morning and watched a temple come alive.

Shin-sha-ku - The night life district with plenty of young yuppie Japanese having fun on Saturday nights. As an American I rarely had to pay my way in or for a drink.

Wayne-oh (Ueno) park in downtown Tokyo with the Emperors' palace and some interesting people watching too. Notice the ladies rest their shopping bags outside along the walls and sidewalks rather than carry them around inside the park.

Ock-kee-ha-bar-ra - The electronics capitol of the world. Everything from diodes and transistors to the latest MP3 players that aren't going to be available here for another year are there. The prices are a bit high but everything is open for negotiations.

All these places can be found on the Tokyo city train/subway map. Don't make the mistake and not learn how to ride the rails. There are plenty of English maps about and any Japanese under the age of 40 speaks a bit of English to help you out.

Tokyo Disneyland was a blast as the Japanese come there to "visit" America. When I was younger and single it was hard not to come home with a new girlfriend or a handful of telephone numbers after visiting there.
