This AM, I got a pop-up ad for a computer cleaning program. This program was specifically targeted at removing traces of online pornography from a computer. The ad was pointed at keeping your family safe from the dangers of online porn. It seemed like a good idea as I am very happily married and if I want to see a hot naked woman, all I have to do is ask and I get the real thing.[;)] (No offense to those here that admire porn).
OK, so I load the program and it has a window that lets you see all of the 'objectionable' files that were found. It found no porn, BUT, it showed about 220 files labelled PISTOL, RIFLE, GUN, AMMO, ASSAULT WEAPON etc.!! I was pissed off, they advertise one thing, pornography, and then proceed to find 'objectionable' files dealing with firearms!! BASTARDS.
I found their email address and wrote a scating letter regarding them lumping gun ownership and pornography together. I also related the recent Ashcroft and Justice Dept. decision regarding an individuals RKBA.

That always happen to me. I use Evidence Eliminator. It's not DOD grade but works like a charm.

I don't need some cheesy program to tell me where the Porn is on my computer.....

Better double-check that.  From what I've read on alt.security.scramdisk, the authors of EE wrote it so that it would fail if someone tried to screw them out of their fees, but apparently didn't do a correct job of it.  If you have a "cracked" copy of EE, oftentimes it pretends to function but doesn't really.  If you have a real, honest, registered-and-paid-for copy of EE< sometimes it pretends to function but doesn't really.
