Levis- anti gun-me too
Dell- Supports HCI-I would, but I never was interested in buying one for other reasons. Kmart- We all know why,if not you should!-True,, but to be honest, I forget and get stuff there anyway. Kenneth Cole- Anti gun-not sure whether I have Kenneth Cole stuff or not-if so girlfriend certainly bought it as a present Mitsubishi- Owned and operated POW death camps in WWII-I admit I still get ticked off over WWII stuff, but I don't hold stuff that a company did then against the company, whose present management and employees had nothing to do with those decisions. My dad bought an Opel and he fought the nazis so I figure I oughta bury the hatchet. Ben&Jerry's Ice Cream- Supports HCI/anti gun (HCI-Handgun Control Inc.) Yup, but it is tough to resist, cutting it out to make sure I make it to 50 without heart surgery is probably a better point This is pretty stupid-but I refuse to go in one of the local grocery stores because you have to have one of those damn cards to get the discounts. It just annoys me that I either get charged an extra $ .30 cents for couple of donuts or I have to let the grocery store keep track of how many donuts I buy. I actually drive about a mile out of my way to shop at one of the other grocery stores. This has been going on for 7 years, by the way... A friend of mine brought up the made in China issue, which I certainly agree with as they are dirty rotten slavers; but boy is it hard to do this. There are some things you just can't find that are made anywhere else. |

I recently posted something similiar yesterday about McDonalds, as I heard they were anti-gun (which was news to me).
Anyway, I checked some links about which corporations were anti-gun. Man, there were alot. Hell, my health insurance company was on the list. I truly wonder how effective any sort of boycott would be, unless against a small company. I mean, so many companies nowadays are subsidiaries anyway. And many of these companies give money to lots of organizations, usually to both parties and many PAC's or other special interest groups. Many times their money goes to conflicting groups (i.e. democrats and republicans). On top of that, by shopping at establishments that sell and promote such products (local grocery selling ben and jerry's/store selling levi's), aren't you supporting these companies by giving money to their distributors? It seems that to get away from spending cash at a company that shares your views, you'd have to live in a bubble. Again, I can see having influence on small companies and local businesses. But corporate America is pretty hard to escape. |

As for boycotting people who deserve it, I make every effort possible to avoid purchasing from china even if it costs slightly more to buy a different product. It is difficult to do, and I often fail, but I am still pissed about them holding our airmen hostage a year ago. |

Hell you all forgot General Motors,Ford motor company. Both made tank parts in ww2 for the germans,and still make for the russians today!
Kmart- help me with this one they sell guns as do Wal-mart.not just shotguns they will order just about anything for you even a ar15 no shit call! |
