I wanted a weapon light but I didn't want to spend $200 for one. I was looking at one of my Surefire lights last night and realized that the shaft diameter is 1 inch. I started thinking about how I could attach it to my KelTec Sub2000. I went to the gunstore and went through some parts bins and found a Weaver base and i inch scope ring ($3). Next I went to the hardware store to get some small screws and nuts ($.50)

I mounted the Weaver base to the left side of the Sub2000 handguard.

I attached the ring to the base and now I have a weapon mounted light.

It's pretty comfortable to activate the light with the tail cap pressure switch. I just push on it with the tip of my thumb. Or, I can just twist the cap for continuous light.
