Hey guys, could use a little help here. I had just picked up a new bayonet for the AR and after I affixed it, I leaned it up against the wall and went to get a twinkie. As I returned to the computer, I tripped over the stack of soldier of fortune back issues and fell onto the bayonet on my rifle. It's not too bad, some blood and it stings a little. I am sitting here writing this with the rifle still attached sitting on the desk in front of me. Should I call 911 or just pull it out and use my surplus east german issue first aid kit ?

Pull it straight out, so as to minimize post-trauma damage to yourself.
Have some floppy disk labels handy to apply over the gaping wound. Sleep with that side uppermost, and drink lots of lliquids before bed.
You'll be fine in the morning.
As far as the bayonet, as long as the finish is intact, I.E., you didn't chip a bone, etc., clean the bayonet (don't forget to remove the scales and clean there, too!) disinfect, and you're good to go. You're welcome.
