Hunting Pic's is back up, so here's another darn dog pic to start off

Took me 45 min to teach her how to open the refer and get the "soda". And 3 days to teach her how to shut the damn door.

Does she remove the can from the 6 pack, or will she only retrieve single cans?

we had a chocolate lab like that
living in western NY, many people leave their beer in the garage to keep it cool in the late fall and winter, and being a relatively rural area no one shut their garage doors and everybody's dogs were free to visit. Well our lab got into the habit of stealing 6 packs and bringing them home. I used to think it just happened once (the time my dad always mentions) but now, years later, my older brother has admitted that the dog did it a lot and that my brother would keep the beer, he was a junior or senior in high school at that time.

That is cool!

I don't even bother with teaching Debo tricks like that... as soon as he figured out how to open the refrigerator, I would be in deep shit!

I'm waiting for We-rBorg's next post with a picture (taken shortly after he returns home from work) of the dog surrounded by six empty Miller cans, and a mostly-eaten roast beef sandwich between her paws, watching pay-per-view wrestling.  [:D]

Beautiful (and smart!) retriever ya got there, 'Borg.

Actually, it was easy. one of her favorite toys is a rope she likes to play tug with, tied it to the refer door, a little instruction and you see the result. She can't get in it without the rope. Some guy from Japan offered $5000 for her when he saw the pic on another site. I thought I'd teach her another trick, but it didn't work out very well, she would sit on the toilet, but wouldn't do anything, she would flush it with no problem. I didn't have the time to complete the learning process for a couple of weeks. I let her in the other night and she went straight to the toilet, flushed it twice, then stuck her nose in it and blew bubbles in the water. Now I have to  untrain her on that.

Great job.  Let me know if you are going on vacation and need someone to take care of the dog.
