Also there are shows that are enjoyable if you binge watch them because it doesn't allow you time to stop and really analyze what you're watching. If you they cut it back to only one episode a week suddenly the show you use to enjoy as you let the content wash over you looks objectively not very good. Take Cobra Kai (post-S1) for example. Binge a 10 episode season in 24 hours makes for a, mostly, enjoyable experience. However, if you objectively analyze each episode a week at a time you'd probably realize it's a show with bad/lazy writing, cringe dialogue, porn quality acting, and is LARGELY dependent on bombarding the audience with Member Berries. |

Yikes, RRR was over the top Bollywood at 3 hours long. Like others said, could have shaved off a good hour and still had the same movie. Was mostly entertaining in the beginning and at the extended climactic battle scene with a long dragging portion in the middle. Whole lot of over the top cartoonish fight scenes both hand to hand and with firearms and even a motorcycle or two tossed in for good measure. The very long extended prison break/climactic ending battle especially so. The copious amounts of singing and dancing won't be everyone cup of tea. And yes the British, with the exception of one female character, are very much the bad guys in this one from start to finish.
For what ever reason Netflix on my Roku defaulted to Brazilian Portuguese for the audio track. Only choices for audio track were that, Hindi or Spanish. Had to switch it to Hindi with English subtitles. |

Considering her maniacal “psycho laugh” almost always only comes out when she’s fucking with people (and usually when she already has them freaked out) I think the laugh being jarring is kind of the point. Regarding your E1 spoiler… Click To View Spoiler The girl didn’t commit suicide. She was running away from her father after she found out what he was doing to his students and accidentally got hit by a car and then died in her father’s arms. IIRC, Nanno texted the mother one of the videos of her husband telling her if she wants to learn more to go to the address they were at and it was actually the mother who hit her with the car.
That’s when I knew this show was going to be different. I thought Nanno was just going to ruin his reputation and get him sent to jail. But arranging everything that happened including having his daughter die in his arms as a result of his own actions was some next level shit. |

Its fiction of course, but the detail of the transition after the wall and the spook stuff is pretty cool. |

Click To View Spoiler a retired woman (trained or not) prevailing over 3 super-duper special forces guys was something. Spoiler is correct. She's also an old woman. I also noted that since it was set in the 80s and the plot deals with Iran, they do news clips of Reagan and Iran Contra. Lots of people on this board look back fondly on the 80s, like me, but in this oviedo and a couple other shows I've seen always emphasis scandals under Reagan or Bush.
