Probably one of the finest performances ever made...right up there with Johnny Cash singing "Hurt" by NIN...

Playing a dying gunfighter...while one knows that he is dying of the same thing that is killing his character. "I'm a dying man who's scared of the dark..."

Probably one of the best cast of supporting characters ever assembled too, second only to "The Blues Brothers"...They were all lining up to say goodbye to The Duke.

Now, if you'll pardon me, I'm having a slight allergy today just thinking about it.

So you're off today too?

Death Hunt was pretty bad ass.

My only quibble, and it's a small one, was with casting.

After watching Hugh O'Brien play Wyatt Earp when I was a ute, it was hard to picture him as a villain.

Now, Richard Boone as Sweeny. Yeah, that worked!

The Duke's best work imo. I hope they don't remake it like they are planning with "True Grit". There are some things it should be illegal for Hollywood to touch.

Favorite line...

I won't be wronged. I won't be insulted. I won't be laid a-hand on. I don't do these things to other people, and I require the same from them.
