They would have been better off making a decisively bad decision, than dithering on a good one.

I have no problem with a 2-party system, as long as at least one party represents my interests. That's exactly what the Tea Party is doing to the Republican party's leadership right now - forcing them to conform to the interests of their members.

As has been stated by various Tea Party spokespeople, the movement isn't a separate party, but rather a mechanism for reforming the current parties.

People are pissed and looking for something to beat on. I'd love to know how many calls and emails they got in the last 12 hrs.
