I have a Colt HBAR 20" Match Target AR15 I'm asking $900 for. Heavy barrel, sub 3K digit serial range, under 1K rounds (most .22lr). Safe queen. I just don't shoot it and don't really like shooting it compared to my other AR's...

...Have an opportunity to trade it for another Colt, in .45acp. Colt series MKIV series 70 ''custom shop reissue''. I know nothing about this gun other than it's in .45 caliber. Appears to be as new in box, with bot and accessories from the pictures the seller had.

Though I'd prefer a high end Kimber to carry, the Colt would probably just be another shoot once a year safe queen. Trade or no?

ETA: PICS. Examples of what is up for trade.

If you want the .45 and think it is a good trade it matters not what anyone else says.

That sure doesn't look like the type of box my 70 reissue came in, that looks like an original 70s box.

I'd make that trade.

FWIW, a standard Colt MkIV is worth about $600. I have no idea what "Custom Shop Reissue" means.

While I like 1911s, I do not like those older versions except for history/collector pieces. Sights, grips, safeties, triggers, etc were all upgraded over the last 100 years for a reason, and I find the new versions much more enjoyable to shoot.
