Probably the best group I've ever seen perform live. But as you said, that is politics aside.

"Joshua Tree" was the last album of theirs that I like. After that, Bono seemed to fall in love with himself and take himself waaaaay too seriously. That, and the stupid Goo Goo Goggles he took to wearing.... "War" is one of my all time favorite albums.

We had 3 kegs, 160lbs of crawfish, a shot block, gumbo, brisket, and beer butt chickens for that Super Bowl. During halftime, I don't think a word was said as everyone stopped what they were doing to watch... |

Loved their 80's stuff. Joshua Tree is in my top five favorite albums. Their stuff the past decade has been mostly bland and uninspired.

I hate them because their music sucks. Way too much reliance on tech vs actual skills with instruments (as admitted in multiple interviews).
oh also, bono's voice sucks. |

I don't like U2 because their music is terrible. I can't stand that crap where he closes his eyes super tight while rolling his head back and singing some stupid "emotional" babble.
It's fucking annoying.
