He is the best at what he does. That video relates to at least a few here on arfcom. Whether or not they understand it, not my prob.

I agree. There is a lot of real life in that video. Anyone think it's ironic that Rihanna is singing in it, after she herself was involved in a DV situation?

He's the only rap I can not only listen to, but enjoy as well. I've listened to him since about 7th grade. That said, Relapse was friggin' awesome, but Recovery is pretty toned down and mainstream.

This isn't about his ex. It is about an abusive relationship(notice who is in the song with him).

Link Posted: 9/11/2010 8:15:46 PM EDT
Ah, alcohol, pheremones, hormones and libido, typical weekend nights in a college town. Is that Merry or Pippin? He is rich, but why is he looking like G.I. Joe with life-like hair these days?

Pure win. Huge fan.

His new album is the suck.

Good answer, he's at the top of his game.

Link Posted: 9/11/2010 8:18:26 PM EDT
I like him! I always have..He was good with Dre..

People who don't like rap aren't gonna like him––its just that simple..

eminem's 15 mins ran out around 2003
Link Posted: 9/11/2010 8:20:43 PM EDT
Rap is fucking horrible and needs to die. I hope he drinks a few gallons of bleach soon along with every other rapper on the planet.

Not that I dislike it or anything

Nope they wont––so it is useless for us to try and help them *lol*

Let them go on listening to whatever it is they listen to––

I would congratulate him on his success, but I'm not a fan of his music.

He's obviously a hard working, self-made man who started with nothing and achieved monumentally. For that, I do respect him a great deal.
Link Posted: 9/11/2010 8:26:01 PM EDT
I don't really care for his new album that much. Like his older stuff with D12 and Dre.
Link Posted: 9/11/2010 8:27:04 PM EDT
I went to his concert in Detroit last weekend. It was bad to the bone.

I've been listening to Marshall Mathers LP this week, if you haven't listened to it in awhile, do yourself a favor.

15 minutes of fame are up? Tell that to his album sales.

And whatsherface Fox from Transformers...

That's the poster song for dysfunctional relationships.

I also concur with the above posters who reference an inexplicable appreciation of Eminem music. There's something about his songs. Maybe it's the subjects, maybe its the rhythm, I dunno. Granted, that Slim Shady song was stupid as hell, but the point is that he does put out some good tunes.

I beg to differ. I started a thread about this a while back (and referenced it in my earlier post), but I am a country & rock redneck, but I dig a lot of Eminem's stuff. I'm not a rap fan, but there are a few rap songs here and there that I like (a few LL Cool J from back in the day, then the occasional chart topper), but I could sit down and listen to an Eminem album and probably like at least half of the songs on there.

"You know the world is going crazy when the best rapper is a white guy, the best golfer is a black guy, the tallest guy in the NBA is Chinese, the Swiss hold the America's Cup, France is accusing the U.S. of arrogance, Germany doesn't want to go to war, and the three most powerful men in America are named 'Bush', 'Dick', and 'Colon'."

Obviously a little dated...

That said, i can't stand him, his "music", or his face...

Im with you man, i have a hard time lumping him in with that shit that they call rap these days at least i understand what the hell he is saying and some of his songs remind me of the way johnny cash would tell stories.
