I'd like to pick up a few examples of older coins made from precious metals. When when the various denomination switched?

Dimes, quarters were last silver in 1964. Pennies went from mostly copper mid-1982.

I always check the dates on my change. I've gotten lucky a few times.

My buddies mom has worked at an Aldis store for a long time. She can supposedly pick out the silver quarters just from hearing the sound they make when clanging around with the other change. So she has quite a collection according to my buddy.
