I doubt anyone that has a clue about ACOG's would buy one off ebay in the first place, but it is obviously a fake. There are many more give aways other than the tube. Did you flag it?

Build quality is horrible. Zero feedback on the seller too. Unless you have seen a real one you may not know.

Every out possible in the "Condidtion"
New: A brand-new, unused, unopened, undamaged item in its original packaging (where packaging is applicable). Packaging should be the same as what is found in a retail store, unless the item is handmade or was packaged by the manufacturer in non-retail packaging, such as an unprinted box or plastic bag. See the seller's listing for full details. ETA: ACOGs have the most clear optics in nearly any scope I've owned. They are built like tanks and take alot of abuse. Their price is comparable to any other quality optic out there. Overpriced? I guess if you don't like quality optics..................... |

My ta31 is most definitely real and it doesn't have the wire keepers on the caps.
