what tv/prank show was this from? You could hear like an audience laughing...
but a side note on bouncers I've known plenty and most handle things with a cool head.... then of course there are a few you join up just to bust heads over the dumbest reasons. I've seen many a people broadsided by bouncers.  (not myself or friends b/c I try not to be a dumbass. )

Does it go something like this? After WWIII the United States took on the bulk of responsibility for the defense of Europe from the Soviet threat. This made sense, since Europe was devestated from the war. This enabled the European countries to get by yon smaller defense budgets, which allowed them to enact generous social benefit/welfare/entitlement programs. Today, European countries are experiencing much msaller birthrates, resulting in an indigenous population too small to provide a tax base that can support the benefit programs. This left them with a simple choice. Either reduce the benefits or find a way to shore up the tax base. Not wanting to get off the gravy train, they began importing workers from Turkey and North Africa. Now they are finding it hard to put a genie who refuses to assimilate back into the bottle. Is that close? |

Bouncer's can usually talk somebody out a bad experience, some people will also say "fuck you" with their last breath. One place I worked at (I should have quit sooner) a fight broke out with a drunk and a bartender. 5 of us (overkill) drag the drunk out of the backdoor. "Are you cool? Done fighting?" "Yes" we set him down, and as soon as he stands up he punches one of the guys. Not just any guy 6'2", 220+ pounds of arena football playing, former Army Ranger that we'll call "B". B pounded him severely for the cheap shot, before we could pull him off. This happened two more times, each time we carried him further away from the club, each time the drunk punched "B" in the face. The last time "B" was laying on top of him, hitting him so hard that both their bodies scooted on the asphalt with each hit. Combined with some other incidents and the rumor that they had attracted federal attention, I got the fuck out. I'm no thug, and I'm not going to be around drugs.

Anyone stationed in Germany in the 80's probably remembers the moped gangs that were around.
Walking down an alley late one night, I was headed to my favorite off-limits club with my buddies when we walked up on a fight. Two big burly German guys (think Tank Abbot type of guy) had their backs against the wall and were being assualted by a moped gang of probably 20 guys. The assualt was not going very well for the gang though. There would be 4 or 5 climbing on each big German guy who would pull one at a time off, hold him, punch him and let him fall, then pull another one off and repeat. The little gangsters were not getting back up after each big hamhock connected with their heads. We just stood to the side and watched as the big lumberjack guys didnt seem to need any help. Plus this was all happening in front of the door to the bar and we had learned early on to get involved in German on German fights. When it was over, me, my buddies and the two German tree trunks went in the bar and started our evening. Other then their clothes being a little messed up, you couldnt tell they had just been in a fight. |

That is a very good bouncer. Not only has control of himself and the other guy but knows th r ight cultural buttons (family with the middle eastern types trumps everything) to push. Wish I was as smart as him when it comes to handling people in stressful/violent confrontations
