HK91
Link Posted: 9/9/2010 2:46:38 PM EDT
I wouldn't buy it for $1500

Link Posted: 9/9/2010 2:46:57 PM EDT
Simply No.
Link Posted: 9/9/2010 2:47:23 PM EDT
If I felt I needed it. And had that money laying around.

Used to I would have, but now I've seen the light that is modularity and widely available parts and accessories.

ETA: that's when I made decent money
Link Posted: 9/9/2010 2:48:11 PM EDT
No.
Link Posted: 9/9/2010 2:48:17 PM EDT
Seems to be a little too much for that gun.

I had one just like it..and got rid of it in 1992 rather than register it with the NJSP.....GOD was I an asshole, i should've just kept it rather than sell it, but at the time we assumed that the registration WOULD precede a confiscation a couple of years down the line. Oh and i Paid $800.oo for it with only 3 mags through it.
Link Posted: 9/9/2010 2:48:54 PM EDT
Nope. I sold my genuine HK91 for much less.
Link Posted: 9/9/2010 2:49:05 PM EDT
nope.

If no hookers and decent blow were available....maybe.
Link Posted: 9/9/2010 2:49:33 PM EDT
Not a HK fanboi, so no.
I wouldn't buy it for $800.

Actually if someone offered me one for $800, I would buy it, then turn around and sell it to a HK fanboi for $2895.
Link Posted: 9/9/2010 2:49:45 PM EDT
Way more than I would spend on a rifle of that type.

If the switch went all the way around and it came with some paperwork. Other than that, it is an $1800 outdated piece of gear.
Link Posted: 9/9/2010 2:51:08 PM EDT

I find them awkward and not ergonomically pleasing.
Link Posted: 9/9/2010 2:51:51 PM EDT
Are you guys serious. I guess a little high. I had one also years ago but HAD to sell it. $666.00 I paid for it. Of all places Commiefornia
Link Posted: 9/9/2010 2:52:03 PM EDT
How many rounds though it?

How many... um... "Clips" (for that price you get "clips" not mags)

How many night do you get with a hot chick that will do anything you want?

How many crates of ammo comes with it?

More info needed
Link Posted: 9/9/2010 2:54:01 PM EDT
Nope.
Link Posted: 9/9/2010 2:54:41 PM EDT
No. I wouldn't buy a G3 style gun unless I had a lot of disposable money and just wanted one in my collection. I'd much rather get an AR10 pattern rifle like an LMT or LWRC.
Link Posted: 9/9/2010 2:55:43 PM EDT
No. I'd buy a SCAR 17s for less.
Link Posted: 9/9/2010 2:56:12 PM EDT
never
Link Posted: 9/9/2010 2:56:22 PM EDT
No, the shoulder thing goes down instead of up and the "optics" could be "paki made"..

Not when I can get one of these for about the same money.
Link Posted: 9/9/2010 3:05:52 PM EDT
I hope you get sucked and fucked for that price.
Link Posted: 9/9/2010 3:06:07 PM EDT
Not only no, but hell no.

Owned several 91's in my life, no desire to own another...especially for that kind of coin.
Link Posted: 9/9/2010 3:07:06 PM EDT
AK = 500
1 Case of ammo = 300

= nope
Link Posted: 9/9/2010 3:07:38 PM EDT
Hell no

You'll put your eye out kid!

It's cool, but not for that kind of money. You can buy entry level class 3 shit for that kind of scratch, so no.
Link Posted: 9/9/2010 3:11:15 PM EDT
No.

If I had that kind of money I would put it on a down payment on a new vehicle.

That's just me.

If you're a collector of HK stuff, then go for it.

If you're looking for a fighting rifle, there are better options for far less coin.
Link Posted: 9/9/2010 3:35:34 PM EDT
I'm an HK fanboi and I wouldn't. There's are many better rifles in that price range.
Link Posted: 9/9/2010 3:38:32 PM EDT
I'd give five hundred or so.
Link Posted: 9/9/2010 3:39:03 PM EDT
He's asking a little too much for that.
