I like the way you think!

Jennifer Leigh looked like a girl I went out with ... No, I went out with a girl that looked like Jennifer Jason Leigh. This was the late 80's, so I have no pictures (I sure wish I did) and she was crazier than was acceptable even to me. But until I finally got Laura in the sack I very much appreciated that scene. Very much.

I did't know that Jennifer Jason Leigh was Sgt Saunders daughter. You know Vic Morrow. I guess you do learn something
every day.

That movie came out my sophomore year. It was classic because I wore an old school long john silvers uniform at work.

If you liked that scene then I suggest you find a movie called Paradise, it is terrible, but she is naked through a good portion of the film.  Mmmmmmmmmmmmm..........................

Any of y'all read the article in Playboy?
IIRC there was article in Playboy about a writer going back to HS.  His article was the story for FTARH.  Also IIRC the writer's bit part was Arnold.

Is this true or just rumor?

Not just fleeting nekkidness either but walk-around-for-five-minutes nekkidness. Flesh & Blood has been on Encore a few times the past months.

Cameron Crowe wrote the book and screenplay. He also got his future wife Nancy Wilson to do a bit part in the movie.

FWIW, The movie "Almost Famous" is a semi-autobiographical work about his years as a teenage reporter for Rolling Stone.

The way I recall, FTARH was published as s short story in Playboy, and a producer read it and decided to back a film production.

He wrote the book (1981) before the movie. Reviews on Amazon say the book is much better than the movie and focuses mainly on Spicoli.
